Course Overview:

NABCEP's PV Design Specialist (PVDS) Board Certification recognizes the advanced experience and skill of PV system designers. This Board Certification demonstrates your proven ability to configure the mechanical and electrical design components of PV systems.

This program bundle consists of two courses:

1. 40-Hour NABCEP Advanced PV Certification Training and CEUs
2. 30-Hour NABCEP PV Design Specialist (PVDS) Certification Prep Bundle

Course Outline:

30-Hour NABCEP Advanced PV Certification Training and CEUs Curriculum:

Module 1: NEC Codes, Building and Fire Codes, and Solar Building and Fire Codes

This module will introduce many of the concepts that will be covered on the exam.

Module 2: NEC Codes Continued

This module will introduce additional concepts that will be covered on the exam.

Module 3: Practice Exam

Conclusion: Feedback and Additional Resources

This course prepares students to take the NABCEP PV Design Specialist (PVDS) Certification national certification exam.

• Cable, Fiber, DSL, or LEO Satellite (i.e. Starlink) internet with speeds of at least 10mb/sec download and 5mb/sec upload are recommended for the best experience.
